Hair Lounge is an independent salon led by uniquely skilled hair professionals, each team member is respectful and inspired to deliver a tailored style that supports our philosophy of natural beauty enhancement in hair.

Jason: Salon Owner

Jason specialises in achieving natural, gorgeous, shiny healthy hair, his “less is more” approach, means a devoted clientele that come from around the Cotswolds, because they value his keen eye that best enhances complexion and tone. He has a creative blow-dry clientele base who return week upon week. Jason has attended the Kérastase ambassador course in central London, so he has a strong knowledge and understanding of the aims and needs of one’s hair.

Sherry:

Sherry brings a wealth of understanding to precision cutting, having trained at one of Oxford’s leading hair brands. Her social skills uncompromising aim remains to make every client’s visit an exceptional one and her passion for constantly evaluating and redefining how to meet and exceed the customer’s expectations make her much loved by not only staff but her following of clients. Sherry has worked within Chipping Norton for the last 16 years so is a very sought after member within the hair industry.

Michelle:

Michelle has worked in Chipping Norton for 15+ years and upon joining Hair Lounge, it didn’t take long for Michelle's clientele to find her, having trained and worked within Oxfordshire at some reputable salon brands. Michelle's wealth of knowledge in creating classic styles is second to none and this reflects in the return of her loyal clients. Michelle's calm and relaxed approach makes her a firm favourite amongst the salon and the staff within the Hair Lounge brand.

Laura:

Laura decided to return to her roots in chipping Norton, having worked in the town some 12 years ago. Laura is a talented senior stylist and covers all aspects of colouring and precision cutting. Laura has a friendly relaxed approach and with her following of loyal clients, Laura is ready to put her stamp on chipping Norton, Laura assisted Jason, the salon owner, some years ago with his training when he was an apprentice.

Elysia:

Elysia joined us back in the summer of 2017 upon leaving school and signed on to the in-house training programme. Elysia has a heart of gold and is always there to assist senior-level members of staff and to learn the many skills within hairdressing. Clients love Elysia's caring attitude and always compliment her on her kind nature. In 2021/2022 Elysia successfully undertook the complete collection at the Vidal Sassoon academy in Central London, including ABC colour, Salon Creative colour, ABC foil & Sassoon blondes.

Lauren:

Lauren has been with the salon since leaving school, she is an important part of the next generation of hairdressers and is a valued member of the team. Lauren gets stuck in and is eager to learn, she is always seeking to perfect her styling skills and colouring techniques. In 2021/2022 Lauren successfully undertook the complete collection at the Vidal Sassoon academy in Central London, including ABC colour, Salon Creative colour, ABC foil & Sassoon blondes.

Emma:

Emma is the newest member of the team to join us here at Hair Lounge, having already completing her NVQ level 2 in Hairdressing at the Lee Stafford Training centre. Emma Joined us in September full time to complete her NVQ Level 3. Whilst with us, she has successful attended the “Foundation” cutting course in central London at Toni & Guy Academy. This summer, Emma is booked on a Colouring course in Central London, again with Toni & Guy.

Emma is hungry for the skills and this is showing in the work she is producing for the salon, clearly a talent for the stylng side of hairdressing. Watch this space as Emma evolves and builds her portfolio  of clients with us at Hair Lounge.

Linda:

Linda joined us back in early 2023, as our front of house. We searched and searched several times over for the correct candidate and it’s safe to say we’ve found our perfect match. Coming from the beauty industry and successfully running her own business spanning 20 years, Linda still wanted to keep her foot in the door and joined us. A huge hit with staff and customers, she’s not only professional, she’s also attentive.

Linda is also a brilliant cake maker in her spare time, which the team love, as every now and then on her day off, we’re greeted to a delivery at the salon... we’re all partial to a slice of Victoria sponge with our lunch time coffee.
